sharing information quickly

Sharing Information Quickly

Sharing information quickly has become a massive thing with internet communication in recent years as the technology has increased in huge amounts. E-mails used to be the main way of communication via the internet but over the recent years social media sites have overtaken this as they now provide an instant messaging service where if you are both online you can have quick conversations where as e-mailing takes a lot longer and if they're not online you can leave a message for them like an e-mail and it'll be there as soon as they log onto the social media lesson.

  1. I completely agree with what you're saying. Social networks are quite possibly the quickest way of communicating between friends, family and colleagues. Social networking allows people to communicate quickly, and also lets people share experiences, with ease and simplicity.

  2. I agree with your point Adam especially about emails becoming an increasingly less used way of communicating since the take over of social media sites.

  3. I agree with you here, but I don't think that e-mail has been completely overrun, because e-mail is a much more formal way of contacting people, for example if you were going to apply for a job you would not contact people via instant messaging because it is un-formal. E-mail should not be underestimated because we still use it a lot more today!

  4. From the comments I have received I now understand that even though they agree that social networking sites have a massive future like I first thought, however I was wrong about the e-mail system as I have now found out that it is a much more formal way to share information quickly and it is still quick in comparison to other ways of sharing information quickly.
